So, a little bit about me, I grew up a military brat, so I was fortunate to move around quite often. I certainly value the flexibility, travel, and relationship skills that lifestyle provided me, but it also gave me this three year itch to always do something different, add a challenge to my life, or paint something. I am not sure I can completely blame my severe anxiety, acute depression, and undiagnosed squirrelly attention span on that lifestyle, but its all completely there. I currently live outside of Charleston, SC with my two sons, as of 1/30/22 ages 13, and 8 (I have included the date since I will undoubtedly never update those ages again, so you do the math). I have worked in banking since 2008 and all of my degrees are in history. I am currently a PhD student at Liberty University and am an avid reader.
This little blog came from my personal journey since my divorce. I have realized how absolutely gorgeous imperfection is and that I am not the only one that doesn't have it all figured out. I hope everyone reading here has an "oh, me too," moment and you become so empowered you share your stories with this village. We are never alone in our journey.
I look forward to your comments, feedback, and reading your journeys in life.
