In conjunction with my Church, I facilitate a monthly book club, at my house, on the third Monday of each month. We tend to gravitate toward historical fiction and contemporary literary fiction with a focus on those that highlight strong female characters. We are all women, it just happened that way, and love literary works that capture the strength of women in all roles that we serve. We have great food, excellent wine, and the company of female leaders. The discussion is laid back, but we do really talk about the book. While none of us are literary critics by trade, we all love to ready! We are all different ages, shapes, backgrounds, you name it, and we enjoy the different perspectives that come out of our diversity.
