I am definitely not a professional critic or even an English major. I am really just an avid reader that loves to talk about what I read. I can't help but read with intention and the belief that literature should impact you, whether good or bad. Reading and discussing what we read brings us together intellectually in a place where we can use the fictional lives of others to explore our own. I host a book club once a month with a wonderful group of ladies from across the many spheres of my life. Water to Wine book club comes together over mediocre food, I'm the cook, and excellent wine. We are fortunate to have a real English major in the house, but our conversations are so open, easy, and natural. One of my favorite parts of the evening is when we close out with our favorite quotes from the book selection that month. If you are looking for book ideas for your own book club, another point of view on a book you already read, or a good laugh over something weird I picked up in my book journey, I hope you find some reason to revisit this site or follow on social media.

In all of my karmic glory, the old webpage deleted itself, which I am taking as a sign that I needed to spend some time rethinking it all and making some updates. There will be more coming soon, ya know, in the time we executive working mothers don't have, lol. I hope to add a page for the beautiful quotes I have collected over time as well as some of the books I have available super cheap. Don't hold me to a timeline, so just keep checking back.
